Dopo aver scoperto l’arrivo di Atlas Rises, il nuovoaggiornamento1.3perNo Man’s Sky, oggi Hello Games ha pubblicato unvideo ufficiale in merito. In queste clip vediamo le varienovità che vedremo introdotte a breve nel gioco, sia per quanto riguarda la campagna singola che il “multiplayer“.
Partendo dalle modifiche generali, è statamigliorata la grafica, con l’integrazione di texture più curata. Lamappa galatticasaràmeglio consultabileper quanto riguarda le informazioni sugli accordi economici, livelli di conflitto e via dicendo. Stessa cosa per le missioni, grazie alla Mission Board dove consultare gli obiettivi. Troveremonuovi biomi, ovvero flora, fauna, pianeti e conformazione del terreno. E a proposito di flora, potremo avviare delle vere e proprieserredove coltivarla.

Per quanto riguarda la modalità single player, una delle principali implementazioni riguarda una nuova campagna aggiuntiva con una longevità di circa30 ore. Stando a quanto affermato da Hello Games, “la storia introduce un nuovo contesto, un sistema di quest e una narrativa ramificata all’interno di No Man’s Sky. Scoprite la verità riguardante le registrazioni degli Edifici Abbandonati, il Mondo di Vetro, le Sentinelle, la Redenzione dei Gek e il significato di 16″. Ed il multiplayer? Potremo finalmente giocare online con gli altri utenti? Più o meno. Non si tratterà di una modalità online classica, quanto piuttosto di un antipasto di quello che (si spera) verrà in futuro. In ogni istanza di gioco potremo vedere fino a 15 giocatori simultaneamente, i quali, però, saranno rappresentati da una sorta di globo luminescente. Nel momento in cui saremo vicino ad uno di essi potremo avviare una chat con lui.
