Anche se per molti è un nome ancora sconosciuto,Essential è la nuova azienda diAndy Rubin, uno dei fondatori di Android. Dopo le prime notizie degli scorsi mesi sull’arrivo di un flagship in grado di competere con i principali top player del settore, oggi vediamo la prima foto dello smartphone in questione. E no, non si tratta delloXiaomi Mi MIX.

Sì, perché quello che vediamo in foto sembra in tutto e per tutto il device targato Xiaomi tanto desiderato dal pubblico, visto il suo ampio e bellissimo display borderless / edgeless, che dir si voglia. Ancora non sappiamo molto su questo nuovo dispositivo di Essential, a parte la probabile implementazione delloSnapdragon 835 ed alcuni dettagli tecnici trapelati da questi brevetti dell’azienda.

★★★★★ Pros: The device designe is really a piece of art. The ceramic body is like a mirror. The edgeless screen is impressive, and the phone is very reactive, fast, the battery stand easily more than one day with a average use. 256 GB storage and 6 GB of RAM is the top of the top for nawadays devices 🙂 The fingerprint sensor has a perfect accuracy and is instantly recognizing me. The phone came with MIUI 8.0.7.0 Global stable ROM, the OTA update did not find any update (this ROM version was already too old), and I could update to official MIUI 8.2.1.0 Global stable after downloading it from official Xiaomi MIUI forums. The cameras performs well as long the scene is not too dark. Cons: The ceramic body will easily make your fingers "zippy" and hard to correctly grab the phone. I would highly advice to use a case as the ceramic can easily break if the phone is dropped.
★★★★★ Pros: It's a very good phoen, I am very pleased with it! The look is awesome and the overall experience is almost perfect. Cons: I am not very pleased with the vendor firmware....not very customizable and updateable.
★★★★☆ Pros: • Great build quality, stunning phone, great operating system, intuitive! • GB had a little fun when writing customs declaration Cons: • Stock clock app did not work. Crashes each time when launching. Have tried to delete app data and force-quit in settings, but for no use. Forced to install Google's substitute, but as it just functions as a regular app, alarms becomes more risky due to alarms being deactivated when the app is closed. • Took 1 and a half MONTH from order was placed to I received it, even though I had payed for tracking (living in Norway). • Leather case was NOT included, if you want to make a case, this would be way too complex and time-consuming for me to even bother..
