Questa notte, ad appena due settimane dall’inizio degli attesissimi Game Awards 2015, il produttore e presentatore Geoff Keighley ha reso pubblica la lista dei giochi in gara quest’anno.
È stata una giuria composta da trentadue giornalisti della stampa internazionale a selezionare con cura i giochi in gara. Per poter essere nominati, la data ufficiale di rilascio del titolo deve però essere equivalente o precedente al 24 novembre 2015, regola che esclude dalla competizione gli attesissimi Just Cause 3 e Rainbow Six Siege.
I Game Awards di quest’anno consegneranno inoltre tre premi speciali dedicati aglie-sport, i cui nominati sono stati invece scelti da una seconda giuria composta da dieci esperti del mondo della competizione digitale. I vincitori di queste tre categorie, così come quella di “Miglior creazione degli appassionati”, “Videogiocatore di tendenza” e “Videogioco più atteso”, saranno determinati grazie al voto dei fan.
I Game Awards avranno quest’anno luogo nel cuore di Los Angeles al Microsoft Theater, precedentemente conosciuto come Nokia Theater, in data 3 dicembre alle 21:00 EST(4 dicembre alle 03:00 è invece lo sfortunato orario per noi italiani). Lo spettacolo verrà trasmesso in diretta su Twitch, YouTube, Steam, PlayStation Network, Xbox Live e Wii U. Come sempre, durante l’evento verranno mostrati trailer esclusivi di giochi già presenti sul mercato o di prossima uscita, intramezzati da esibizioni musicali.
